No matter which MetFloor profile is chosen the same state of the art CMF decking design software can be utilised. The software incorporates the structural & composite slab tests carried out at Imperial College London, combined with fire tests carried out at Pavus in the Czech Republic under the management of the SCI (Steel Construction Institute); providing highly efficient and robust computational designs.
The MetFloor software enables the designer to carry out the full decking and slab design including additional concentrated loads and punching shear checks in a simple but precise manner. Calculations can be produced to either British Standards or Eurocodes, with a simple user interface to input all relevant project data. Designs are automatically carried out for the construction and normal stages as well as additional fire and dynamic response calculations for user safety and comfort.
Once the design is finalised a comprehensive set of calculations can be printed, which come complete with the SCI Assessed logo. CMF is the only decking manufacturer to have carried out this SCI assessed ratification for its entire profile range.
Download softwareWhether you’re in need of a purlin, side-rail or eaves beam calculation, the CMF MetPurl software caters for all of your design requirements. Enabling the user to compute wind and snow loading to both British Standards and Eurocodes, the software is able to collate multiple profile calculations within building sets.
Additional calculations are also available for drifted snow and cantilever scenarios, whilst the purlin and side-rail inputs allow for a variety of load cases, with support and guidance notes given at every step of the calculation.
Detailed report outputs can be saved and printed for individual component designs or for comprehensive calculations for the entire set of completed designs.
Upon the completion of your design, additional information is provided as Alternative Solutions, to guide the user toward optimum solutions.
