MetPurl provides a complete purlin and side-rail system, available as plain Zeds and Cees, asymmetric flange widths and Sigma profiles, as well as all associated accessories.

CMS’s high-quality service and client support

Fully tested by the British Research Establishment (BRE) and ratified by the Steel Construction Institute (SCI), the MetPurl profiles are formed from S450GD+Z275 grade steel for both high strength and durability.

Calculations can be obtained from CMF’s MetPurl software, enabling wind and snow load calculations, and MetPurl system designs.

Versatility

Sections are available with wide or symmetric flanges for optimised cladding joints, and either flat back or sigma profiled eaves beams with top-flanges angled from –20° to +26°.

Can be applied as part of any one of CMS's multiple layout arrangements, ensuring schemes are completed with a balance of on-site safety and overall efficiency.

Tested

Independent testing completed on full section range and 4mm profiled cleats.

CMS MetPurl macros available on Tekla Structures, providing automatic accessory adjustments and state-of-the-art barrel roof functionality.
